Name: Hazret Hassa’I’ Basri bin Awi Dichu

Age: 23

Course: Bachelor of Mass Communication

Hazret Hassa'I' Basri bin Awi Dichu grew up as the eldest child from three siblings. Was born on 29th October 1997, Hazret grew up in Johor Bahru before transefrring to Selangor at the age of 2 years old. Continuing his studies at SK Jalan Empat and SMK Jalan Tiga Bangi from age 15 to 17, he then got transferred to SMK Taman Setiawangsa and finished his SPM there.

Having a hobby and deep interest in sports, Hazret filled his free time doing physical activites like going to the gym and playing fitsal. With a follower count of 20.1K followers on Instagram, Hazret is loved by many inside and outside of campus. His easy-going and chill personality made him approachable hence qualified himself as City University's Mass Comm Club President.

Decided that studying was not his forte; he decided to undertake his Diploma of Mass Communication for three years. As someone who does not have much interest in his studies, he succeeded in achieving the Academic Excellence Award from City University. That made him realize that he can do it and that gave him the boost to continue his Bachelor of Mass Communication and is currently enrolling with over two semesters left.

Being a social bee himself, Hazret secured his Diploma internship at Fly Fm (Media Prima) and learned many new and exciting things. For instance, he did music arrangements for Fly Fm through out the whole four months of his internship, and he also did five radio advertisements for Panasonic, which he never imagined he could do before. Other than that, he was also one of the extra cast for Viu's The Bridge Season 2 and acted alongside Bront Palarae.

Art is one of his way to self-expressing; in result, he wrote and released few R&B and hip hop singles on Soundcloud. Feel free to check him out @HazretWay. Realizing the more urgent and essential duty as a student, his singing-songwriting passion is currently on hold but will be resume after he graduates.

Despite all the things life has thrown at him, he can still get up and rise because according to him, it's okay if you're not good enough, but you can be the hero of your own story. As a student, Hazret managed to juggle between his personal life, his career and his passion well; hence he is the Jack of All Trades.
