Programme Description

Foundations, and Liberal Studies, City University is aimed at providing an in-depth professional knowledge and skills in the field of education or training for teachers, educators and trainers in schools, higher education or any learning organizations in the core areas of philosophy, sociology, management, curriculum and instruction, psychology, instructional technology and evaluation.

Specialization - Educational Assesment and Evaluation

Specialization - Early Childhood Education

  • Early Childhood Education - A Discourse

 Specialization - Sociology of Education

Research Project ( in area of specialization)

  • Small Research Project
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Education of other educational fields with CGPA 2.50 and above.

  •  OR CGPA 2.00 - 2.49 with 5 years of working experience in relevant field.

  •  Candidates who do not possess Degree in Education must undergo and pass with at least a B in History and the Philosophy of Education, Sociology of Education and Psychology of Education.

City University

  • Assignments may be individual or in groups
  • Each module may consist of 1 to 2 assignments
  • Each module may also consist of an examination or a test
  • Examination marks range from 30% to 60% for each module

Full-time: 3 semesters Part-time: 4 semesters
