Master of Architecture

The Master of Architecture (Coursework) is a 2-year full-time programme. It is the second stage of the professional training to became a graduate architect.

This Master or Architecture provides a dynamic studio-based learning environment that produces graduates who are forward thinking, collaborative and at the forefront of the changing architectural profession. You will be exposed to studio teaching from a combination of experienced and innovative young academics together with industry professionals who will inspire you and develop your critical ability, skills and creativity within a simulated office practice environment.

Entry Requirement

  • Passed B.Sc (Hons.) (Architectural Design) - Board of Architects Malaysia Part 1 from City University with minimum CGPA of 2.00, minimum grade C+ for the final Architectural Design Studio module and must possess minimum 6 months relevant work experiences after obtaining the Bachelor Degree OR
  • Passed B.Sc (Hons.) (Architectural Design) - Board of Architects Malaysia Part 1 from City University with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and must possess minimum two (2) years relevant work experiences after obtaining the Bachelor Degree. OR
  • Passed Bachelor of Science or Arts in Architecture or Architectural Studies from any accredited Architecture School under Board of Architects Malaysia Part 1 or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00, must possess minimum 6 months relevant work experiences after obtaining the Bachelor Degree and passed the portfolio review by City University.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT :

  • Passed Bachelor of Science or Arts in Architecture or Architectural Studies from any International University must obtained for Board of Architects Malaysia Part 1
  • Passed the portfolio review by City University
  • Obtained a minimum 5.0 IELTS or equivalent is required.
