Faculty of Architecture, Engineering and Built Environment at the City University is dedicated to advancing the integration of architecture. Students are encouraged to explore the visual, functional and compositional possibilities associated with design within our physical, natural and social environments.

Arhitectural programmes integrates many of the evolving fundamentals of the green movement in educating students to be environmentally conscious with both design and materials. A variety of teaching and learning strategies are employed. Students learning experience of the programmes includes lectures, practical works, tutorial, workshops, studios and site visits to construction sites, historical and cultural interest and manufacturing industries. The annual exhibitions, student events and student clubs is to ensure our students have an all-round education. The Faculty provides students with a relevant intellectual to their technical needs and develops skills for a lifetime of employment.

Engineering programme offered by the faculty aims to produce knowledgeable and innovative engineers. Civil engineers belong to one of the most interdisciplinary engineering fields. The curriculum combines both theory and practice. Civil engineering professionals design, construct and maintain society's infrastructure-buildings, bridges, roads, airports, dams, water supplies and environmental systems. With the intricacy involved in creating and updating infrastructure designs and projects, civil engineers must take into account not only construction costs but project completion time, government regulations and potential environmental hazards.
