The University of Ballarat DBA has been approved by the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) as a level 10 doctorate equivalent to the PhD. Both programs integrate course work and a research component leading to a dissertation/thesis of 40,000 – 45,000 words. The dissertation not only reflects new knowledge creation but also the implication of the new knowledge for policy and practice.
